Japanese mountain goblin's name Literally means "heavenly dog."
Tengu are born from giant eggs. In their past life, they were arrogant samurai
or priests. "Tengu ni naru," is a caution not to be as
arrogant as a tengu. Along with great skill with the sword, telepathy, the ability to appear and disappear, the tengu can change it's shape; but it's shadow will always reveal it's true nature. |
